We had the chance to try out the new HD camera on a cloudy March afternoon on the Agglestone rock in Studland. Weather held off giving us a couple of hours of practise and some fun routes.
It was a great venue for the first boulder of the 2010 with a superb overhang and some nice features. Looking on-line there did not seem to be much route information but once we were on-site there was enough to keep us entertained!! Typically after not filming a successful test route soon after arriving we could not stick the moves later on that day which tested the new Metolius Stomp Crash Pad well!!
So hopefully we should have enough footage to put a small short film togther and see what quality the camera is producting prior to it's main test in Fontainebleau, June.
So a new boulder to add to the 'must go back category' and a few smiles and sore fingers as well.
